Marissa mother who friend to my sister and her whole family were friend to my family has invited my family n siblings to join her beloved daugther Marissa at Kemensah Height, Ulu Klang. We arrive there a bit late because while preparing Baby Rayyan things, UPS come and handover my US parcel! More story on the bottom! We arrive there and meet Alia family and exchange story…. The main highlight is about my mom trip over Europe for two months and now she in ITALY spending romance time with my father and with the intruder by my sister ).

The food were great, Alia choose Nasi tomato and it cordinents along to fit the traditional taste of Malay cuisine… The best party is they have leng chi kang! I always love leng chi kang compare to cendol or abc. Then they have dominos pizza with KFC as side dish.

The party was organize by a party planning company as Alia is expecting his second baby end on May to early June. You go girl! They have clown to entertain children, face painting and balloons creator! Lively and happening birthday party indeed!

Most of the people who attending the party are relatives, family member, neighbour and closes friend to Alia herself and the family. Not a crowded party, but guest who come and go have their chat moment among themselves.

As for Baby Rayyan, he really enjoy seeing clown performing activities with games. He and hubby got balloon present! We did try party cone hat to him. At first he try to take out the hat, but we managed to divert his attention to his balloon at hand.

Studio Photoshoot at De One Studio, Sri Hartamas

For his 1st birthday, we decided to have his picture frame nicely in 12r or 16r and put at the entrance for the birthday party were held. So me and hubby decided to have a studio photoshoot for him. So far, I’ve selected either the Picture Company or De One Studio.  Both company really have impressive profile. The Picture Company more to surelism photoshoot whereas De One Studio have a few option that I would like to try. I know De One Studio from the tv slot of Gugu Gaga Erra. So I thought that it would be okay to give them a try.

 The arrangement with De One Studio were made in March to get Baby Rayyan appointment right. Because of work and room renovation, we are quite tied up with the schedule.

So after Princess Marissa birthday party, we drove to Sri Hartamas. We reached there quite early, while Baby Rayyan dozed off due to tired crawling here and there at Marissa birthday. We waited around 20 minutes for Baby Rayyan to woke up, while the photographer preparing the setup.

For Baby Rayyan photoshoot, we have choose three themes at first. First theme, is angel with naked body. Second, the Aladdin and Third theme will be Prince Rayyan! While preparing the first setup, I decided not to have the angel with naked body coz during his first picture photoshoot back while 2 months old…he had the shoot once. So, I’ve changed the theme to his normal wear just to be relaxed.

The photoshoot went well. At first, he quite blur about the whole thing and keep take out his Aladdin hat. Wearing his hat, he looks like a baby girl with chubby chicks! Really geram with him! ekekekekeke

Then the second costume change, he became the most handsome and cute prince I ever meet. With white shirt and jacket and pants, he look smart and tough. He sit properly at the children crown chair holding his sword and armour….he is totally a prince!

The third shoot is wearing his normal wear. The shirt bought at Cheatau’ shop in midvalley. I like to have Rayyan wearing those brand clothes compare to Poney because their range of clothes is perfect for baby and toodlers. They have cotton and linen for kids. Compare to Poney brand, not only the price is pricy, the quality not the same level as what the price is showing.

I only will buy Poney when they have really discounted bargain or warehouse sale. Other than that, no way!

But if you go to Indonesia, US or London make sure Baby Gap and Oshkosh on your priority list! Coz the price down there extremly cheap and affordable compare to KL. And I just discover that Ralph Lauren polo shirt is cheap if you are ordering from US!

Ok,back to the story, after shooting those three clothes. Its time to view all the picture. I must say that the photographer do execellent job to capture hyper active boy like Baby Rayyan.

There are around 100+ picture to choose from. From 100+, we have to choose 12 for the album book printing. 1 for 8R and we can choose extra to be printed at RM9.00 a piece for min of 25 extra picture selected. Unfortunately, that I got carried away with those lovely picture Baby Rayyan pose, I ended up to buy more that 40 pics. Can you imagine that. He just a cute boy and I adore his every pose. More picture will be coming up after we received all picture and album from De One Studio.

On Sunday 11/4- we were invited by my friend E-car Nazrin to her son 3rd birthday party in Bandar Sri Putra, Bangi. We leave our house quite late because Baby Rayyan need to take his morning nap and also lunch. If not he will be grumpy and moody all the way. At 12:00 noon, me, baby rayyan and his nanny left house and fetch my hubby in Cyberview Lodge because his on duty on that day. We reached e-car nazrin house around 1:30pm. Lucky that the party is on. Unfortunately, I couldn’t meet my facebook friend Stephanie Liah and her adorable baby boy ryan raffael. May be next time will do.

Indeed the party have organized by eiymann mother herself with the present of Mr Clown. Children are well entertain and they serving nasi ayam, mee goreng, soft drink and a few dessert as a side dishes. The theme for eiymann birthday is Barney. So the tent is decorate with purple and apple green. Even the door gift bag is in green colour. Baby Rayyan got his first Barney placemat from Mama Eiymann. Thank u dear! Love ur door gift so much!

For this birthday party, not much Baby Rayyan could do or participate because he suddenly dozed off in the car after being hyper active with his nanny in the car. So Mama eiymann don’t have chance to hug Baby Rayyan.

We are not stoping for long time because, hubby need to get back to the office and me have to stop at supermarket to buy some things to be cook for the night.

I’m happy that mama eiymann invited me to her son birthday party. It’s been a while for me not to have invitations to any friend house because I’m too busy organize back my life. Now, I’m in control of my life. I would like to participate more on meeting new people and make new friend. Maybe some of  you will said how desperately am I to have connection and relationship but life need that!

Guest list can be length from your computer table to your kitchen and come back to your computer table. You will think that everyone need to be notify and be invite. Because what, we are Malaysia. Other country may shortlisted their guest list according to their group of network. But for us, as bound to the rule of harmony society, consensus that we hold need to be respect. From family members to neighbours to office mate, forum friends and if your child were to sent to day care centre…his/her friend plus nanny need to be invite.

When you have this problem, always look back to your budget allocation. Are the budget enough to cover everybody that will attend your baby birthday? Are food that you budgeted is enough to cover everybody?

As for the solutions, your guest list can be divide into couple of group such as :

1. Family- both side parents, both side siblings, aunties, uncles and nephew

2. Friend- close friend or aquitance/ facebook

3. Officemate

4.Forum or bloggers friend

5. Neighbours

Every circle of group you can estimate how many person you want to invite. This will really help you to stay in your budget.

RSVP- this is what Malaysian afraid and lazy to do!

In most countries in the world, rsvp is the most important things for them. Why? From there we can actually planned our party smoothly. But as Malaysian tradition, rsvp will show that the person who invite is not sincere enough to have the guest to be in their party. As for my family, we do rsvp but my mom especially she said…”kalu nak buat kenduri kasi orang makan jangan kedekut” but the things is if let say you prepare food for 50 people but the guest attend is 100 people, where to get another 50 people catering in short time. Another pro of rsvp is no wastage happen. You will know exactly how much you want to prepare the food.

So do please put rsvp into your invitation and if they did not give answer within a week. Please do call the list of people to confirm their attendance. This is the way that you may know how many people will come and can plan your baby activity. Too many will give headache and stress your baby. Especially when your baby is not really good with outsider people.

In their early stage of 1 year, they are learning communication and developing trust to outsider. If we did not count their development and feelings towards this situation, they definately feel frustated and started to make noise. You will not enjoy your party and you need to concerntrate to your baby only and the purpose of having chit chat with your friend will not happen. Guest will feel that their attendance is not importance.

Yes, people word can be sharp as knife but you as organizer need to be firm. I had once people talk behind me about my wedding. I believe that I have invited all my friend, people that I know but if you were not in my invitation, either I forget or I purposely not intend to invite you at my wedding. But mostly I managed to invite everbody only a few that I really forget and lost contact with my dear friends…..

BUDGET is major problem for all of us. Even Bill Gates also facing same problem like us. Every that we planned must have min budget and max budget you can go for.

What is min budget? Min budget is when you can buy the item at certain rate whereas max budget is when the item price will not at your wish price but you can go to certain limit.

Budget will include of decoration item, caterings, entertaiment, door gift and snack to be served on that day. All this time will not have the same amount of budget. May be you would like your guest to enjoyed food and entertaiment. Some may consider door gift is the most important thing or decorations play number one role. Netherless it’s depend on you.

Decorations : Budget allocation

While planning for a theme, decoration will play the most important role. It will determine the theme is sucessfully convert from sketech idea to real things. In Malaysia, we still don’t have strong base for DIY. But most of the countries especially europe or america, they able to create to design and DIY things by their own.

Don’t spend to much on getting the theme look like a theme party, but intergrate idea of the theme with your creativity and imaginary. To plan a 1st birthday party boy/girl you have to be like one. The goal is to make the baby happy n enjoyed not to stress him out and turned the party to be adult party!

Party Place : Budget Allocation

There are many choices on the location where you want to conduct your party. It can be at the hall, in your house, garden, restaurant or cafe, hotel or special place like ice skating ring. There are some pro and cons about those choices.

There are plenty restaurant and cafe who willing the organize your party and suprisingly the price is relative reasonable. I can suggest you a few which is in Klang Valley area.

2. Mc Donald- They have package A & B. I will show you their party pack later. Person to contact is their party planner in each store. As for who staying near Gombak you may proceed to contact person incharge in Titiwangsa Branch-very nice lady

3. A&W petaling Jaya. Their offer very good deal for part package. Price starting from RM600nett including A&W bear, food and staff to entertain your kids.

4. Group Base Catering. if you guys want to do the party at your own house. I highly recommended this catering group. I’ve used this catering for Baby Rayyan Majlis Cukur Jambul & Aqiqah. This catering was recomended by my mom friend. They food is super delicious and price really reasonable. May be this time I will used them as official caterer.

5. Hotel Ballroom. When you have extremely thick notes in your pocket, you can choose this option. Your baby birthday party will definately be party of the year!

But remember, from all of the option given above. The most important is your baby happiness and the guest. Make sure every location that you choose will not hassle both party.

WEEK ONE : MARK YOUR CALENDAR!!!

Rule number one in every party, wedding or anything that include planning-please bear in mind that not everybody can attend your party or wedding if you don’t choose the correct date. It happened to my frens. Party on Saturday-only  a few can attend because some may work on that day. So careful mark your calendar and ask around whether they able to come. Tentatively book all your friend even if you friends label you as silly planner.

When you should tentatively book your friend? Basically, one month before the event. It can two month. In order words spread unofficial news about ur party. Like I’m doing like now. Baby Rayyan party tentatively will be on 30th of May 2010. Please do make urself free coz dat that will be amazing and super delicious food to be served.(advertised for a while )

Mark your calendar also means that you need to know how long do you need to plan the party to be sucessful. Some may say, why want to spend so much time on it. U never know because many things can happen and remember you are spending more time at the office compare to home. So mark your calendar every week for progress that you have made.

As for now another 2 months to go and I have got all the quotation for food, favors, entertainers, decorations and also some things that need to be design. So basically I have done 40% from the party planning job. 0% on party job.

9th Month Birthday....

Rayyan is getting older and older and I’m getting sad and sadder. Because why…when he grow up he wont manja-manja with me. Hug me while we are sleeping together. Smile at me whenever I do silly things. Sit on my tummy whenever me played elmo or sesame street on the laptop…..

Time really running fast. Sometimes I really mean that I want him to have a fast grown up…but when it comes to this matter…I feel sad.

When he grown up..will he do the same thing also...

But luckily that I captured his moments from birth until now. Whenever that I feel demotivated with works, frens or family, I look into my iphone, looking all those memories. It brings back smile to me…

I bet every parents in this world want to have their child maintain to certain age that they feel loveable. But it’s too good to be true! Oh well, let it just flow by itself. And now I’ve bigger project to do.

First project! My Mahligai Klasik company. I really need to work hard to live the dream that I always want.

Second project! Baby Rayyan 1st birthday bash party! Have I decided yet the theme? Definately! Theme colour white, red, blue & black! Black is a must! The whole theme…is a secret. But throughout the blog update weekly, u will get the answer.

The party will be somewhere around end of May or earlier of June. So be prepared to buy nice n good present for Baby Rayyan ekekekekeek…. just kidding.. Make sure available on those especially your baby n kids! Lots of fun activites will be waiting for them!

Colourful theme is the best for kiddo....

Last week, my SNS friends emailed me and ask me why I didn’t update any news on my blog. I replied her email and said that I was busy taking care Baby Rayyan and the stories goes….

Later on 20/01/2010, on my 2nd wedding anniversary, I got a phone called from my mom saying that my father was admitted to Price Court Kuala Lumpur. He had +ve influenza A. Do not know where he got it but historically he had respitory problem and this somehow will lead to influenza A +ve. Then my mom urge us the whole family to go to the hospital and took the influenza A test but me, hubby and Baby Rayyan denied to do the test because we didn’t feel sick at all. Baby Rayyan look normal with his routine activity and look that he’s going to have his first theeth to came out. So we just take precautions to have clean bedroom, pruified air, make sure our body tempreture didn’t exceed 37.5 celcius.

Then a few days past by and I was told again by my mom that my father is H1N1 +ve. I was so shocked and worried had defeat what I hoping is not true. After work, I rushed to home and checked Baby Rayyan condition and his body tempreture. Everything is normal. His eating and drinking milk also normal. Nothing to worried. I’m quite relief but still worries has conquer my heart.

On sunday 24/01/2001, the day Baby Rayyan turned to 8th month…after come back from work. His nanny told me that Baby Rayyan not feeling very well. His body temp raised up and his eating not that good. Me and hubby rushed to checked his body temp with 3 different device. The body temp is showing 38.5 celcius. My hubby suddenly took Baby Rayyan progressive syrup and gave him just to cool down the temp. We rushed to emergency ward in Tawakal Hospital and when the MO checked again his fever it was 36. Luckily that my hubby fast action to feed Baby Rayyan with progressive syrup works! The MO done the influenza A and Baby Rayyan +ve. She said there’s nothing to be worried because many things can be influenza A. H1N1 is a part of inlfuenza A that is very dangerous and if not treating earlier it can lead to death. She asked us to come tomorrow to specialist and refer to Baby Rayyan pedi, Dr.Kishore for further action. She advice us to monitor every 2 hours Baby Rayyan body temp and keep feeding the progressive syrup every 4 hours.

We took him home and both of us took emergency leave for 2 days temp on that particular time. On 25/01/2010, early in the morning we went to see his pedi. My hubby went first to register Baby Rayyan since Baby Rayyan +ve influenza A, we need to take precautions step not to infected other babies and childrens. After waiting 20 minutes in the car, we went to see Dr. Kishore and told him what happen. He took Baby Rayyan mucus from nose to make test whether Baby Rayyan +ve H1N1 or not. So far, his advice is not to worry because Baby Rayyan did not show any of the symptons. He said that he have looked far more worst cases than this. H1N1 is a normal virus when u treated the patient correct at earlier stage. Sometimes people did not realize that they carried the virus, because of their immune system strong the fever will healed itself. But when it got infected with another person that immune system is low, the person B will definately having all the symptons and if not treated earlier and well, the person B will die.

After mucus sample took from Baby Rayyan, the things will be send to the lab in Selangor Medical Centre to do the test. It will took at least 1 day to know the result. People who is in danger and prune to get the risk will get priority to have their mucus to be tested first. These group of peoples will includes patient with respitory problem, babies below 1 year old, old person, pregnant women and patient with diabetist and high blood.

His pedi told us not to worry and advise us to checked and monitored his body temp. If his body temp raise, immediately get him into emergency wad. By the mean time, he will followed up with Selangor Medical Centre and try to get the result asap. So we went back to home with prayer that Baby Rayyan will have -ve result on it. Baby Rayyan done his normal routine and at 6 pm, on his 2 hours daily checked body temp, his body temp raise up to 38.5. Both of us panic and we immediately called his pedi office and told the pedi what the next step. Is it we remain at home or immediately send him to emergency ward.

His pedi told us that he will arranged everything and called Selangor Medical Centre immediately for his result. Because without a confirmation of H1N1 test, he cannot suddenly gave any type of treatment. Both treatment will danger our son life. After an hour past by, his pedi called and told us that Baby Rayyan is +ve H1N1. Both of us feel so sad and deeprest. The only hope and pray to God is to save him and don’t take him away from us. We want to spend more time with him. His is our symbol of love, strengths, courage and have brighten every single person who live in this house.

I went to our audio room, looking at my mom playing Super Mario, laughing and slowly I said that Baby Rayyan was diagnosed H1N1 +ve. My mom put down wii controller and asked everybody to get bath and clean themselves because all of us having a lot of contact with Baby Rayyan. I know my mom really upset about this news because she loves Baby Rayyan so much. My father was quarantine inside his room. Only heard the news when my mom suddenly ran into the room and told him. Both of them quite panic because Baby Rayyan still small and he got all the troubles in this world. He started to become grumpy because of the fever and want to get near me or hubby.

Hearing sad news, I gather all the courage and strengths that fallen into piece, packed Baby Rayyan clothes while my hubby still on the phone with Baby Rayyan pedi. He will arrange all hospital arrangement, treatment and everything that he can do to save my child. My hubby put down the phone and hug me and said that everything will be ok and this is another GOD test to us. The see whether we are strong enough and valuable enough to be in HIS eyes and loves.

Dr Kishore called half n hour and saying all the room in Tawakal is packed up. As H1N1 patient and quarantine people, we need to have a single room that can feed 3 of us. So we called every hospital under Prudential Insurance list and we got SJMC. They have vip room at the moment and the next day they will transfer us to single room. Either can be done actually because we pay Baby Rayyan premium quite high. His entitled for 1 single room for admission and will get up to RM200 allowance per day. We did called Pantai Medical Centre and was told that without their general physicians report they cannot admit us! My hubby yelled at them and say !@#$% word! Hello, my son is having H1N1 and you said we cannot received ur son because there is no report from their general physcians. I really get frusted on their services!

My sister called every hospital in town n try to arranged accomodation for us and Baby Rayyan for admission. While my sister called and confirmed the hospital, my, hubby and Baby Rayyan went straight to Tawakal Hospital emergency ward as instructed by his pedi. We reached there and there’s a lot of people seeking for treatment also. My hubby went to see Dr.Kishore to have the report and emergency ward in Tawakal Hospital advice us to go straight to SJMC since they can provide the treatment more faster than them. Because if Baby Rayyan admitted in emergency ward, the treatment will be temp and I still need to move to another hospital.

So we drove our car to SJMC and called to confirmed our admission. They confirmed. While driving at Federal Highway, my sister called and said that Damansara Specialist can accept us. I prefer to have Damansara Specialist since it is near to my aunt home and our home. So anything we can called or go back easily. So I make a turn to Damansara Specialist and heading straight to Emergency Ward. As usual, damansara specialist emergency ward is super duper crowded and most of the patient is children. They are coughing and sneezing all the way. We try to calm down Baby Rayyan n talked to him. His mood a bit swing but he still laugh and try to replied us in his baby talked.

The admission process took way too long untill Baby Rayyan poo poo in his night pyjamas. One thing with Baby Rayyan, if he poo poo or extra pee his want his diaper to be change immediately. So he become more grumpy than ever but still can smile and play with us. About 1 hour standing at emergency ward we were direct to Premier Suite floor to our quarantine room. The room is nice and spacious for 3 of us. Sadly, no one can visit us or send any gift or flower to us.

We spend 4 days and 3 nites in our Premier Suites room playing with Baby Rayyan and really resting ourselves. Actually not really resting but ‘layan’ Baby Rayyan. On the third day, Baby Rayyan feeled so bored and grumpy again because he rarely go out to played. Just imagine, 3 days we were in the room nothing to see or do. Doctor prohibited Baby Rayyan to go out, because of H1N1. Me and Hubby sometimes we sneak out to buy food or to take fresh air. Luckily the room is big enough to give Baby Rayyan crawling from door to window.

I forgot to tell you guys, that Baby Rayyan able to sit himself and to pre-crawled when he got admitted into the hospital.

The best thing that, he become everyone fav including the visitor who came to see their relatives. We break the rules and allowed Baby Rayyan to have his lunch and dinner outside the room but stay at the Premier Suites Lounge only. No one believe that this handsome young boy got infected with H1N1 because he didn’t showed any symptons. Unlike the two rooms nearby our room where occupied with kids having really high fever. They seem really grumpy and their nanny having so much trouble to feed them. But not Baby Rayyan, he finished a bowl of his Heinz rice mix with mash vege and also drink plenty of warm water.

On third day evening, his doctor (Dato Dr Musa) came to checked him and took our mucus sample. Seriously guys, really pain in the ass when the doctor took our mucus sample. Now I know why Baby Rayyan hate to do the test for twice in the row. After checking 3 of us condition, the doctor said that if parents is -ve, we can packed our bag tomorrow and just quarantine ourselves at home.

Thank God. Alhamdullilah. Me n hubby really happy with this news. We cant bare anymore for any bad news.  Next week, we will off to our road trip to east coast with Baby Rayyan. Let all the bad luck behind and have a new luck ahead.

Later in the evening while feeding Baby Rayyan his dinner, one of the nurse came by and tell us the result. Alhamdullilah, both of us -ve. I think mentally we need to be strong, when our mental and spirit is strong, definately any illness is hard to get. Applause to Baby Rayyan because he safely survived from this illness.

4th day morning, doctor came by to have his last visit on Baby Rayyan. He congratulated Baby Rayyan to be very brave and strong. Baby Rayyan smile and feel so happy. So we packed our things and hubby settled the bill. Luckily again that we tooked Baby Rayyan insurance earlier. His bill was 90% covered by Prudential. We just paid balance from the room charges because he only entitled for RM250nett per day for room. We don’t mind to paid extra as long as Baby Rayyan in a pink of health.

We spend our time for 3 days more at home quaratine ourselves. Me played our new wii. Finished 6 stage Resident Evil. Baby Rayyan mastered him crawling, pre-walk also and teeth showing.

Too many memories that when I looked behind, I feel sad and missed those things. Woke up in the middle of the nite with my ceaserean fresh wound, massage him, put him near to me and hug him. Those memories cant be exchange with whole life treassure.

Muhammad Rayyan Harris were the joy of our life. His smile, his laugh, his look and his beautiful and charming eyes will calm people who looks at him. He love to play hide n seek, jumping with him jumperoo, being tickle by his Tok Mama, talking to his Tok Babah, try to roll over but can’t because his belly to big ) (Little Boyot we called him) and make baby babling sound when you don’t to look or talk to him.

At his four month age, rapid development we saw on him. He started to hold heavy things, try to get up to sit, not really demand for his pacifier, no bad colic, started on his first solid food (Heinz baby food for 4 month), roll forward n back and clever to take people heart by being so ‘manja’. What he will do is put his head on people shoulder and smile…and when we sit him up at our belly facing other people, he will turn his head to see us just to get confirmation wheter his mom, dad or anyone who holds him still with him.

Pantang nampak tangan Babah dia...sure nak gigit

Since masuk minggu pertama 4 bulan, Baby Rayyan dah pandai nak mengigit benda. Mungkin sebab gusi dia gatal kot. Nak nak lagi pantang tengok tangan babah dia atau jari kita. Abis digomol nya, kesannyer pipi dia abis merah sebab bekas air liur. Dah bawa ke pedi dia…pedi dia kata don’t worry just keep cleaning. Permainan rattle dia lepas satu2 dia baling bila dia dah bosan. Nih sekrang kiteorg  cuba lamaze nyer rattle. Sebab banyak activity sikit…so tahan la satu permainan satu bulan.

Akhirnya termakbul jugak permintaan Tok Babah dia untuk buat toncet utk si Baby Rayyan nih. Tengah bersiap2 nak pergi ke JJ Setiawangsa, terjumpa pulak ikat rambut bentuk candy yang beli kat Jakarta hari tuh dalam beg. Yerlah ingat nak dapat baby girl, siap beli mcm barang accesories lagi. Last2 dapat baby lelaki so accesories tuh mak dia lah yang pakai. Muka si Baby Rayyan nih dah sah sah macam perempuan. Di tambah dengan toncet sulung dia tuh… confirm cam baby Flinston. Baru-baru nih Cik Noor ader buat open house secara kecil2an untuk kiteorg adik-beradik plus hubby. Anak dia Cik Rania dah pon mencecah umur 2 bulan lebey. Alhamdullilah semuanyer ok… cuma Cik Rania nih suka menangeh…tak pasal2 mesti besar jek mulut dia melalak. Yang si Rayyan nih pulak biler Rania menangeh… dia siap pandang2 lagi lepas tuh amik tangan Rania dan masukkan ke mulut. Nasib baik tak de gigi lagik… kalu ader gigi abis kot tangan Cik Rania kiter nanti. Baby Rayyan dalam gambar nih cam Hulk Hogan…

Baby Rayyan jadi hantu siang...

Kalu tengok gambar nih mesti teringat zaman baby dulu, sebab arwah nenek saya suka jugak menempel bedak sejuk kat muka kiteorg. Kata dia jadi awet muda ekekekke. Kalu si Baby Rayyan nih pulak, tampal bedak sejuk bukan aper tapi nak hilangkan jerawat aka ruam susu dia. Sebab bedak sejuk nih resipi dari generasi ke generasi. Sesiapa ader jerawat pakai, sure besok gerenti hilang. Sejak arwah nenek meninggal tak der siapa dah yang reti buat bedak sejuk nih.

Semua orang dok sibuk sarung baju raya, Baby Rayyan tak ketinggalan jugak menyarungkan buat pertama kali baju melayu siap dengan sampin. Ala2 johorian gitu cara pemakaian dia. Handsome tuh dia pakai baju melayu. Bak kata by brother yang jadi fashion designer, orang melayu kalu pakai baju kurung dengan baju melayu..seburuk mana pon muka mesti cantik. Tapi kalu mat saleh, secantik mana pon mesti nampak pelik. Well, tak tahu lah betul ker idak tapi my baby look macho and gorgeous. Dont u think so?

Si Akmal kita nih fav dia ialah baca Goggle Reader n Engadget. So, dia nak anak dia sekali ikut tabiat dia. Siap cakap lagi umur Baby Rayyan setahun dia nak hadiahkan laptop. huhuhuhuhuu tuhlah kalu bapak dah minat tech dengan gadget jawabnyer anak pon ikut sama. Tapi Baby Rayyan pon satu jenis suka tengok barang2 yang tech jugak. Bapak dia layan laptop, dia leh duduk diam sambil tengok, kekdang kiteorg layan tv series, Baby Rayyan join kat tengah2. Kekadang tuh tunjuk gak gambar dia kat iphone saya, punyalah over excited. Haih, kuah asam pedas tumpah ke nasi jugaklah.

Sekarang Baby Rayyan dah besar. Dah leh duduk kat high chair dah. Tapi high chair ikea nih kena ader bantal utk support belakang sebab tak padding. Kalu mcm kat rumah nyer, Chicco nyer brand tuh dia memang ader extra padding dengan adjustable position. Alhamdullilah, dia tak meragas semasa duduk tup. Cuma kena kasi mainan dia kalu tak, dia membebel jek…

Rasanyer baby-baby sekarang nih genius daripada generasi kita dulu. Generasi kiter dulu, kalu umo dua bulan mana nak petah buat bunyi dengan bercakap. Baby sekarang siap pandai agah. Oh ya, Baby Rayyan suka berdiri n duduk. Tak suka baring jek. Cepat bosan mamat nih. Penat jugaklah nak mengangkat 6kg nyer Baby. Belum masuk tiga bulan lagi…entah2 8kg pon mau cecah.

Baru-baru nih Baby Rayyan kena jangkit batuk n selesema dari kiteorg the whole family. Mula2 Tok Babah dia batuk…lepas dua tiga hari, me pulak then terus jangkit ke Baby Rayyan. Seksa jugaklah kiteorg. Kecian kat Baby Rayyan, tak pasal-pasal selama dua minggu ulang alik Tawakal Hospital utk checkup. Bukan apa, dengan epidemic H1N1 nih susah nak cakap. Wad hospital penuh dengan org yang suspected H1N1 n babies serta toodlers kena batuk berkahak. Baby Rayyan kena nemobilizer untuk 4 hari berturut-turut. Hari ketiga kena masuk tiub dalam mulut untuk sedut kahak dalam paru-paru. Ya Allah, nak pengsan dibuatnyer. Nasib baik hari ketiga belas, nasib baik doktor kata tak yah datang hospital dah. Cuma makan ubat batuk n progressic syrup jek.

This Ramadhan will be our special Ramadhan coz Baby Rayyan is celebrating it with us. Duit Raya pon masyuklah ek ekekekekek…. apa2pun kami sekeluarga mengucapkan Selamat Berpuasa n Maaf Zahir Batin.

 18hb Julai 2009 is the date Baby Rayyan had his cukur jambul n aqiqah for the very first time. We had this one lovely baby goat for Baby Rayyan n plan to had another one for his first year birthday. In Islam, we been suggested to have 2 goat for bay boy n 1 goat for baby girl and the aqiqah need to be done before the baby turn mature (akil baligh). The aqiqah n cukur jambul is not necessarily to be done. The both event is consider to announce that the couple had receive their child n care to share with families n friends. The aqiqah is to show how grateful of us towards God gift and the meat will be cooked deliciously n gave to guest who attended.

As for us, Baby Rayyan will be the first baby in both of the families. So the celebration from my family is a must. The most happiest people in the world is my parents. Their first grandson n will be their company whenever they go out. As for me n hubby, this is the symbol of love from both of us. We been know each other since 2002 n get married on 2008 n God had given us precious gift on 2009.

The morning of 18 Julai 2009 was bright n sunny. We had our last preparation of Baby Rayyan door gift to the guest n Marhaban Group. We had aromatheraphy perfume given to women n blue memopad to men. Lovely printed Baby Rayyan’s Aqiqah & Cukur Jambul Event. Even in Islam, we are been suggested to give either things that goes with nice to smell or something good to eat. At first we tot of having Madu as our doorgift but its hard to get Madu in a jar that we wanted n also perfume from Saudi Arabia. Perfect for our first son but the manufacturer need at least 2 weeks to settle our order n time to send to Malaysia. Seriously the bottle perfume gorgeous. May be I can do for Rayyan 1st Birthday.

At 12 the caterer n the canopy people came n start to decorated our house. We had 6 canopy line up n my mom ordered nasi beriyani kambing & ayam. Delicious. It is the same caterer as our wedding. The food fantastic. I can smell the briyani from inside the house. The buffet was setup beautiful at our car porch with flowers n lots of balloons!!! At 1 the balloons people from Party House came n setup the deco inside the house. We had the pelamin for Baby Rayyan cradle n staircase decorated a night before.  At this particular time, we planned to had lots n lots of balloons inside the house as Baby Boy celebration.

 Total of 1000 balloons had decorated inside the house n its feel like having a fantasy world on that day. The smell of yoke charm n jasmine bring out the memory of my solemization n wedding day. It feel just like me n Akmal having our solemization day. I stare happily with tears rolling out from my eyes. In this one year plus many things had happen, good n bad things n I grateful to God that I still live with people around me cherish n love me day by day.

Me n Akmal get on to our dress. Akmal with his cream baju melayu, recently make to measure from SparksMen shop in pavillion, Kuala Lumpur n me with my cream lace baju kurung. Baby Rayyan was wearing handsomely his Tok Mama long dress knitting special for the day. Me n my mom had done our makeup with my previous make up person, Herryanto. We had great time with him n we like to have him around our family whenever we need people to make up us. He done terrific job on me n my mom.

 At 3pm, the Marhaban group member come with 33 member altogether n start the event with Doa Selamat & Tahlil for our late grandparents & the people had passed long time ago. While having Tahlil in our house, I was thinking could it be better if both my grandparents be here holding Rayyan in their arms. I was been raised by my grandparents becoz I’m the eldest. So, I’m more close to them rather than my prents. But don’t u guys ever thinks that I don’t have any love or respect to my parents. If my parents not here with me, support me n guide me….I don’t think so I could ever life as strong as this.

My Tears almost fall down...

Guest started to show up, it fun to have all people that we known for years came to see Baby Rayyan. As for my mom friends, Baby Rayyan  consider as their grandson also. becoz most of them still have small child. If got same age with me, most probably single but not available . As to my friend, they will be Baby Rayyan godfather n mother. As for Kim & Lionel, Baby Rayyan is their little nephew.

I’m quite suprise for my cyber friend, elly. She n her husband came away from Shah Alam to Gombak just to meet n the famous Baby Rayyan ). Seriously, big thanks u guys! Hope our friendship last long!

My photographer, Linda Latip from Beautkids Photography arrived a bit late due to she stuck in the jam at Sungai Besi highway. It is the day that Manchaster vs Bukit Jalil team. It is a friendly match n everybody know that Bukit Jalil will have telur ayam & Manchaster will have thousand of score ). But she n her hubby amazingly took picture of Baby Rayyan n the event. Tengkiu very much Linda.

The Marhaban Group started their marhaban n berendoi. It was so lovely n sweet n touch many people heart including me n hubby. The poet arrange beautifully n its about how the baby will grow up to respect his father n mother n family that love him so much n deeply. How to be grateful to Allah when he grown up. Tears by tears fall from my eyes n to Baby Rayyan chubby check. I wish to have my nenek n datuk right now. Seriously. Words cannot express how miss I am towards them. I can even smell my nenek smell around me that day. May be she n datuk pay a visit to us n Baby Rayyan.

After marhaban n berendoi song, we had everybody including the Marhaban member cukur jambul Baby Rayyan. Yes, indeed Baby Rayyan have lots of hair n the best part he had long hair perfom jambul that need to be cut anyway. So the cukur jambul event in a way to trim Baby Rayyan jambul )
